5 Stars! - Ms. Farmer

How was your date? Look at these responses!

"Maybe He Just Likes You by Barbara Dee was a match for me! This page turning read tells the story of a middle school girl finding strength in her voice. Relatable, empowering! A must read!"

5 Stars! - Ms. Corron

"Caste: The Origins of our Discontents, by Isabel Wilkerson, is a deeply researched, thought provoking look at numerous long standing laws, traditions, and customs of American society.  These practices, which have been enacted and perpetuated over the 150 plus years since slavery was abolished, have touched almost every aspect of American society - and has resulted in an overarching element where racism is the foundation for so much of our way of life.  This is an eye opening look at how discriminaton is ever present and can touch every corner of our current day society.  No matter your age, race, gender, or any other identifying characteristic, this is worth a read to understand the implicit and explicit injustices that unfortunately still exist in America."

4 Stars - Mr. Wandyes

Will they meet their perfect match?

How to Get Set Up with a Book Date

We want to set you up with the book of your dreams!

Tell us a bit about yourself and what you want in your "blind date" by completing the Google form found here: Blind Date With a Book.

We will try to create the perfect match and deliver your blind date to you.

It will be a wrapped book with clues on the front hinting at what the title might be. The fun is in the challenge of trying to guess what the book is before unwrapping!

Or..., select one of the wrapped books on this page. Email us at FarmerK@suttonschools.net with the book number next to the book. If you are the first one to select the book, it will be delivered to the office for pickup.

Will it be love at first page?

Step 1: Choose a "Mystery Date"
